Wednesday 3rd June – Windsurf *** The Manor at Felixstowe – sunny periods early then windy and wet.

Foil – 18.47 knot max, 17.02 knot ave., 11.92 knot hour, 15.42 knot mile, 31.37 km., 13.22 knot alpha.

Starboard Freeride 150 and a Tushingham Bolt 5.75m and Naish Nalu 4.75.

With the wind forecast to build strong and rain I decided to head down to The Manor in Felixstowe early and parked in Squiz Lane at 9. At this point the wind was a tad off and gusting to around 20 knots so I took a chance with my 5.75 which was OK for an hour and I had some good long runs out, even had some glimpses of sun! I had one long broad run before I thought it best to head in as the wind now side shore was increasing and the sea state picking up! I had a snack and nearly decided to call it a day but rigged my 4.75 and had a few nice runs with that but with black sky approaching and it was getting rough I decided to call it a day. I was lucky enough to pack up before the rain arrived, just before having a drive round to take a few weather pics, I have never seen so many golfers out at The Ferry and it was foul!
Mag then got her butt on ITV’s About Anglia, thats water butt as Aisling used it:) Cracked it today as got a pic on the BBC too!
